Sorry didnt come out right

My question isnt coming out right on here. It is five eights y greater than equal to negative fifteen.

Hello, potter14!

\(\displaystyle \frac{5}{8}y \:\ge \:\text{-}15\)

When solving an equality, use the same steps as with an equality, except
. . when multiplying or dividing by a negative quantity, reverse the inequality.

We have: .\(\displaystyle \frac{5}{8}y \;\ge\;\text{-}15\)

Multiply by \(\displaystyle \frac{8}{5}\!:\;\;\frac{8}{5}\left(\frac{5}{8}y\right) \;\ge\;\frac{8}{5}(\text{-}15) \)

. . Therefore: .\(\displaystyle x \;>\;\text{-}24\)
