If I have 1,488 square inches and I paid $770.00 how much am I pay per square inch?
And if I am using it 10" X 24" how many can I get out of 1488 square inches and how much is it costing me at $770 per 1488 square inch?

You have 3 (identical) pants and you paid $48. How much did you pay for each pant? - use same principle

And if I am using it 10" X 24" how many can I get out of 1488 square inches

You may not get any 10" X 24" - if your 1488 square inches are made of 7" X 212 4/7"

Hello, Deborah47!

Answer the three questions separately . . .

If I have 1,488 square inches and I paid $770.00 how much do I pay per square inch?
The unit cost is: .\(\displaystyle \frac{\$770.00}{1488} \;=\;\$0.516473118 \;\approx\;$.052\) per square inch.

If I am using it 10" X 24", how many can I get out of 1488 square inches?
If your project requires \(\displaystyle 10 \times 24 \,=\,240\) square inches,

. . you can get enough material for: .\(\displaystyle \frac{1488}{240} \,=\,6.2\) projects.

And how much is it costing me at $770 per 1488 square inches?
You are buying 240 square inches at 52 cents per square inch.

The cost is: .\(\displaystyle 240 \times \$0.52 \,=\,\$3.224 \:\approx\:\$3.22\)

I agree with the first two parts of the solution. But when I take $0.52/sq in times 240 sq in I get $126.80.

I think this solution needs a re-check.
