The ruler below has elevenmarks and can be used to measure lenghts from one unit to twelve
Design a ruler which can be used to measure all the lenghts from one unit to 12 units but this time put the minimum possible no of marks on the ruler???

there is a diagram of a ruler in the pdf file with "1" no. plzz see and ans

i dont get the prob and the ans which is solution behind the book
