Hello,

Okay, I have the answer to the following equation, but I don't understand how to get it. I've tried so many things. Here is the problem:

√1+8v -2 = v
(1+8v) are under the square root

Please help me,

I'm running out of hair

Remember also to check the validity of your solution(s) when you have squared. You may get extraneous roots.

You have the answer but you don't tell us - what was the question? What were you asked to find?

Did you need to solve for 'v'?
