The problem: Express in terms of a single function: sin(pi + theta) + sin(pi - theta) What I'm confused about is what to do with the second term - since sin(pi + theta) is equal to -sin(theta) does sin(pi - theta) equal sin(theta)? Or am I completely wrong?

does sin(pi - theta) equal sin(theta)? correct

New question. The problem: sec(90o + theta) x sin(180o - theta) My question is what does sec(90o + theta) simplify to. I'm assuming that sin(180o - theta) simplifies to sin(theta) as 180o is equal to pi radians.
