find the values of the constant k if the line x+k is a tangent to the circle x^2+y^2=8
And hence write down the equation of the tangent for each value of k

please help, i have no idea how to do this, please help....thank you.

How would calculate the slope of a tangent line to the circle at a point (x1,y1)?

Here you are given that slope of the line is 1 ← (y = x + k)

What relation doyou get out of that information?
