Help with Math Team Problem

The problem is 3x+4/3=4x/8
A) -8/3
B) 1/3
C/ 8/3
D) 2
E) 4
I keep getting 5/3, which is not not one of the answers. Please help and show how you got your answer.

That is written: 3x+4 over 3= 4x over 8
(4x)3x+4/3= (4x)4x/8
12x+4/3=8
I then multiplied 3 on both sides to cancel out the 3 on the left. I got
12x+4=24
-4 -4
______
12x/12=20/12
x=5/3
