Please Help; Algebra2 Trig Course

Please help me with this problem:
solve for x: 27^x+1=81^x
As written, the above means:

. . . . .\(\displaystyle 27^x\, +\, 1\, =\, 81^x\)

Did you perhaps actually mean to say "27^(x+1)" for the left-hand side, so the equation is actually like the below?

. . . . .\(\displaystyle 27^{x\, +\, 1}\, =\, 81^x\)

81x - 27x -1 = 0

Newton says x = 0.293356099595198
