children who are very intelligent are considered gifted. 2% of all children are considered gifted. in a small primary school of 80 students, the principal wants to know the likelihood of having a gifted children. assume that all students are independent of each other.

  • calculate the probability of having exactly one gifted child in the school?
  • calculate the probability of having at most 2 gifted children in the school?
  • is the assumption of independence valid? Justify your answer?

can someone please help me work this out im stuck especially on part (c)
