Need some help understanding what exactly I'm supposed to be doing.
Not sure if this is the right forum:cool:
Here is what I'm being asked:
Rotation by 90 degrees about the axis parallel to n = 2i - 2j + k passing through the point p2 = (2, 2, 2)
For the matrix T2:
-write the transformation matrix as a general expression involving translation matrices and a rotation with the origin fixed;
-state the general form for the rotation matrix from (i) and the values of the parameters (nx, ny, nz and cos(theta), sin(theta)) to be used
There is more, but I just need a hand starting this question.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
