For Halloween, you bought Candy Corn and Candy Pumpkins.
You spent $78 and have 22 bags. If the Candy Corn cost $3.25 per bag and
the Candy Pumpkins cost $3.75 per bag, how many of each did you buy?

You need to find the numbers of each bag, so pick variables standing for the numbers of bags; say, "c" for "corn" and "p" for "pumpkin".

Given these variables, what equation stands for the total number of bags? What equation stands for the total cost?

Then solve the system of equations for the values of the variables.

If you get stuck, please reply showing how far you've gotten in working through these steps. Thank you! ;)
