Chain Rule - table

I have these two tables that I need to fill out in order to use as a cheat sheet for my calculus class, we are all allowed to use this cheat cheat on our exam next Thursday but I do not know how to begin. I had missed a few classes (basically all of chapter 3) due to personal illness ( I have a heart disease) so I feel like I don't even know what have the terms and vocabulary means. Any help understanding the table and solving a few problems will be greatly appreciated.
