Complex Numbers/mandelbrot set

Hello,

I wasn't quite sure where to place this question, so here it goes:

I recently found an interest in the Mandelbrot set and decided to try to create my own version of it on excel, however I have no idea how to create a model of the Mandelbrot set on excel.

Could someone please explain how to create one to me? Also, I am not incredibly computer-savvy.
