This problem has me doubting my math abilities!

There is a 5 foot train that has three sections; locomotive, passenger, and caboose cars. The caboose is half the length of the train and the locomotive is 1/12 caboose. What is the length of the passenger car?

Thank you for your input!

The length of the train is one whole entire complete train. Given that a particular part of it is taken up by the caboose and locomotive, how much is left of the whole entire complete train?
