Is this how you find the derivative for a vertex quadratic equation?

So say I have an equation in the form:

f(x)= -5(x-2)2+6

Are these the correct steps to finding the derivative of this equation?:

f'(x)= -5(2)(x-2)(1)+0
f'(x)= -10(x-2)

Therefore f'(x)=-10x+20

Is this correct??

Thanks
