Hi all. I am looking to find a solution to this. I am looking for a way to find the radius of the large circle.
The only numbers I have are for the radius of the smaller circle. Can anyone give me some pointers as
to how I would proceed please

Hint: If the radius of the small circle is "r" then the diagonal of the square (D): D = 2(r + r*√2)

What are your thoughts?

Ok my math is fairly poor. It is a few years since I have studied.
I started by trying to set an equation for the diameter of the full circle
and then dividing the square in to smaller right triangles. Finding an
equation for the radius of the full circle and then setting them equal
to one another and solving for x. I just end up with a ridiculous
quadratic with negative roots.
How are you getting the diagonal of the square?
