Hi guys,

So my question is, how come can in the following equation the power of 1/2 be turned into a multiplier? There is probably some basic rule behind it, so please educate me.

S 2ln(x^(1/2)dx = 2*(1/2) S ln(x)dx

Thanks for help

Do you remember the logarithm 'rules'
log(a*b) = log(a) + log(b)
log(ab) = b log (a)
and so forth?
