A problem about Age.

There is a grandfather, father, grandson trio whose combined age is 140 years. The grandfathers age is the same as the grandsons age in months. The fathers age in weeks is the same as the sons age in days. What is the age of all 3?

I took Son's age in days as x This would mean that the age of Grandfather will be 30x in days And this would mean that the age of Father will be 7x

I converted 140 years into days by multiplying it by 30

My answers are 3.68 years for Son (Approx 4) 25.78 years for Father (Approx 26) And GF is 110.4 (approx 110)

I would assume that there are 12 months/52 weeks/364 days in a year

Start with naming variables:

Age of Grandpa = G years

Age of Papa = P years

Age of kid = K years. Then

trio whose combined age is 140 years → G + P + K = 140

Continue....
