I am starting Calculus this week and we are having a review test tomorrow. This is a question on the handout and Ive tried moving it around but I cant seem to simplify it really.

I have to simplify it down to an expression with only one Log and state any restrictions...

(log8x2)(logx8)2

Where do I start?

Thanks in advance!

Assume

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{Log_8x^2 \ = \ a \ }\)

\(\displaystyle \displaystyle{8^a \ = \ x^2}\)

What are your thoughts?

Please share your work with us ...even if you know it is wrong

If you are stuck at the beginning tell us and we'll start with the definitions.

First I was thinking of converting it but its not equal to anything
And I was also maybe thinking change of base but that didn't help haha
I need a push in the right direction

I just need help solving it...

Rewrite as \(\displaystyle \Large{\left(\frac{2\log(x)}{3\log(2)}\right)\left(\frac{3\log(2)}{\log(x)}\right)^2}\)
