Mean Value Theorem. can anyone help me?
When coming to school, Ms. B received a ticket from an Officer on the 5. The officer claimed that Ms. B was exceeding the 65 mph speed limit by at least 20 mph. At 7:02 she passed the officer's checkpoint and at 7:08 she passed the second checkpoint. according to the officer, the distance traveled between the checkpoints was 8 miles.
do I need to use the equation of f'(c) = f(b) - f(a) / b-a ?
if the bottom part: b-a = 6 minutes ? so,
8 miles
0.1 hour .... so she's going 80 mph?
is that correct?
How do i provide an informal statement of what the Mean Value Theorem of that?
