Find the volume of the solid generated by revolving the regions about the given axis.

The region in the first quadrant bounded by the curve x=y-y^3 and the y-axis about the line y=1.

I have solved this using the shell method but the professor has challenged us to see if we can solve it using the washer method. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What did you draw? What are your thoughts? Which formulaic set-up will you be using? How far did you get in that process? Where are you stuck?

Please be complete. Thank you! ;)
