Hi there....
My question is this:
Is the following equation sometimes, always, or never true:
sin(x+pi/3) = 3sin(x-5pi/3)cos(x+pi/4) (the answer says it is sometimes true - but how...????!!!!)
I appreciate it requires the use of compound angle formulae, but I have been getting tied in knots for quite a time.
a simple line by line idiotproof explanation would be brilliant please.
Many thanks
Al
