Erm... sorry, but this all makes little sense. You mention the sigma operator, but there's no sigma in the problem. Did the full instructions perhaps say to write this expression using sigma notation? Additionally, I believe there's a typo here. If the first term was really meant to be 3.07, then the sequence has a common difference. If that's the case, then I'd note that you can rewrite the sequence as:

3.07 + (3.07 + 2.03) + (3.07 + 2 * 2.03) + ... (3.07 + n * 2.03)

And the value of n can easily be determined because you know the exact value of the final term in the sequence. Either way, when you reply back please include the full, complete problem statement so that we're all on the same page as far as exactly what you were asked to do.
