Qus1) If John's money is 500 and Robert 's money is 800.
then what times john's money then Robert 's money.

Qus2) If John's money is 500 and Robert 's money is 800.
then what times Robert's money then John 's money.

John's money is 500 and Robert's money is 800. \(\displaystyle 800= \frac{800}{500}(500)\) So John's money is \(\displaystyle \frac{800}{500}= \frac{8}{5}\) times Robert's money.

Qus2) If John's money is 500 and Robert 's money is 800.
then what times Robert's money then John 's money.
\(\displaystyle 500= \frac{500}{800}(800)\) so Robert's money is \(\displaystyle \frac{500}{800}= \frac{5}{8}\) times John's money.
