Mrs. Granger, a cyclist, rode from her home to Tad's Molding Company at the average speed of 18 miles per hour. On her return from Tad's, using the same route, she averaged 12 miles per hour. If the total round trip took 5 hours, what was the distance from her home to Tad's?

Formula Distance = Rate X Hours
Home to Tad's 18x
Tad's to home 12(5-x)

Equation: 18x=12(5-x)
18x=60-12x
18x+12x=60
30x=60
x=2 hours
18x=36 miles
