Do you mean "g(x) = sqrt(x - 3)" or "g(x) = sqrt(x) - 3"? Either way, just plug the given numbers in for "x" and simplify to find the answers. For instance, if g(x) = sqrt(x) - 3, then g(16) would be sqrt(16) - 3 = 4 - 3 = 1.
