If one has 1 job that pays $14/hour every 2 weeks per month, how many hours does one have to work to meet a monthly goal of $735? What formula or equation needs to be done to calculate.

Would the formula/equation change if one has multiple jobs too?

Sometimes, we call it "Dimensional Analysis"

($735 / month) * (1 month / 4.333333333 wk) * (1 hr / $14) = 735/(4.3333333 * 14) hr / wk = 12.12 hr / wk

It does not matter how it is paid, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, weekly, daily, etc. But, if you insist on the bi-weekly

($735 / month) * (12 month / year) * (yr / 52 wks) * (2 wks / fortnight) * (hr / $14) = (735 * 12 * 2)/(52 * 14) hr/fortnight = 24.24 hr/fortnight

Same thing.

If the two jobs pay the same rate, then the solution is the same.

Note: "every two weeks per month" doesn't mean anything. I assumed you meant "every two weeks".

Thank you very much you really helped me. I have been trying to calculate how much effort is needed to cover a lot of expenses. I figured going at it mathmatically it will be much more clear and easier to achieve.
