It doesn't ALWAYS pay to reduce, simplify, or follow the "correct" rules.

7 5/8 + 5 5/8 = 12 10/8 = 12 20/16

12 20/16 - 11 5/16 = 1 15/16

How did you get 10 from 13 - 11? You didn't estimate, did you? Shame!
