and 8 data points of female heights

and 79 data points of heights shared by males and females (common heights)

example: if there is 4 males with a height of 5'4" and 3 females with the height 5'4" then the entire lot of them (7) will be a dded to the common heights. however if there were only the 4 males and no women with the height of 5'4" then the 4 of them will be added to the data points of male heights. do you get it? well now i have to solve the following identities and my teacher isnt being specific so i dont know what he wants

the first is

(M U F) = and i figure thats M union with F so that is the sum of the M and F making it 76+8=84? is that correct?

(M intersecting F) = ? i assume the intersection of M and F is the CH which is 79. is that correct?

Finally im giving odd identeties like these

(M[sup:14n62ro1]-[/sup:14n62ro1] intersecting F)=F-(M intersecting F)

i dont even know what to do with that. it looks solved itself. and then my classmate said im suposed to make one of the sides look like the other and i still dont know what to do with that. help please?
