I'm having problems with trying to solve using Cramer's Rule. The problem is to solve for x in:

. . .4x + 2y = -3
I determined the determinant to be 12. Is that right?
Then I put x equal to:
. . .|..2. .-1 |
. . .| -3. ..2 |
. . .----------
. . . . .12
This led to (4 - 3) / 12. Then I put y equal to:
. . .| 4. ..2 |
. . .| 4. .-3 |
. . .----------
. . . . .12
This led to 20 / 12.
Am I totally on the wrong track?
