Hi guys, I'm a lil confused on the term direction in MATH .. for me it's something that I can't explain but I know it's just like this .."intuition" , what's the definition of direction in MATH? for example if I have x^ and it's parallel to E^ then we say that x^=E^ , why? and how two things are pointing on the same direction .. any analogy to real life?! thanks alot .

Direction, in general comes into play with vectors - like velocity.

If two birds are flying along a pair of parallel paths, those might be travelling in same direction.
