I need help trying to show that f and g are inverse functions algebraically: f(x) = -7/2(x) - 3 and g(x) = -(2x + 6)/7
Can anyone help me with this one. I always have trouble finding inverses of functions.

Show that f and g are inverse functions algebraically:
f(x) = -(7/2)x - 3 and g(x) = -(2x + 6)/7.
You have misread the question. SHOW THAT f(g(x))=x and g(f(x))=x.
That is, show they are inverses of each other.

Show that f and g are inverse functions algebraically:
f(x) =−(7/2)x−3 and g(x) =−(2x + 6)/7.
So f(g(x))=−(7/2)[−(2x + 6)/7]−3 & g(f(x))= −(2[−(7/2)x−3] + 6)/7
