How do you graph the polynomial y=x^3-4x^2+9x-10?

I'm only used to graphing each seperate component - how do you get it into graphing form?

I did it on my graphics calculator, but I couldn't see how it worked.

Maths exam tomorrow, please help!

What do you mean by "each separate component"?

To graph a polynomial, pick an x-value. Plug it into the polynomial. Solve for the y-value. Draw the (x,y) point. Pick another x-value. Plug it into the polynomial.... and so forth. Draw enough dots to be able to graph the polynomial. (You may also want to solve for the zeroes, and use end-behavior information.)
