Does anyone know how to put the:
lower extreme, lower quartile, the median, the upper quartile and the upper extreme into the TI-83 Plus?

this is the data i'm trying to figure out:

123, 254, 100, 121, 143, 93, 205, 66, 111, 176, 89, 189, 205, 75, 100

how do you find the mean? is it add all numbers together then divide by however many numbers in the set.

Yes, the "mean" is the "regular" "average".

I don't know if the TI-83 can take a list of values and find the mean for you, though I would suspect that it can. Check your manual.
