How to solve equation x = (1)/(1-x)

I was give this problem...

Solve x = (1)/(1-x)


A. Solution set is empty

B. x = ((SquareRoot 3) - 1)/(2) or x = ((SquareRoot 3) + 1)/(2)

C. X = ((SquareRoot 5) - 1)/(2) or x = ( -(SquareRoot 5) + 1)/(2)


Can someone help me solve this?

What did you get when you multiplied through by 1 - x to clear the denominator? What did you get when you moved everything over to the right-hand side? What did you get when you applied the Quadratic Formula (here) to the result?
