hi everybody :) could you please help me with this? why not allow infinity to be a real number? thank you.

Real Numbers have established properties.

What is ∞ / 2?
What is ∞ - 1?

Mostly 'cause it doesn't act like a real number.
2+1=3 but infinity +1 =infinity
2*4=8 but 2*infinity = infinity
3*3=9 but infinity*infinity=infinity
3/3=1 but the does that mean dividing both sides of the previous equation by infinity you get infinity = 1
Nope infinite just means not finite or not countable.
