2(1-2x)/3 -2x=-2/5+ 4(2-3x)/3

I keep getting 4 as my answer but apparently the book says the answer is 12/5. Is the book wrong or me?

What did you get when you plugged "4" back into the original equation in place of "x"? Did the two sides evaluate to the same value? (They certainly do not for me!)

What were the steps by which you arrived at your solution value? Please show all of your work. Thank you! ;)

I got the answer as 9/10

You're starting off on wrong foot:
left side should be (2(1-2x)/3) - 2x
Go stand in the corner for 2x minutes where x = 5
Ah yeah. So that's why the math seemed a bit unrealistically complicated!! ?
