I was shared a business case from Mc Kinsey with the answers, however I do not understand the calculation steps and even with the answer I am not getting the logic.

On question 4, I do not understand why there is a 70/30 split on the 10 million yards. I do not see anything in the case that is giving us that info or that could lead to that split.
It would be great if someone could enlighten me !
