Firstly thank you for having me on this forum, I have a few questions & seek advice, i feel confident I am in the right place so I look forward to going through this & getting to know you all.
To give some context I am finishing my business/accountancy degree soon, my friend is finishing an developing/coding course & I want to start an accounting software similar to the one my father uses as we think this would be an extremely fun project & will help us learn more about our passions.
However I wanted to hear your thoughts on appropriate formulas to incorporate within the code, ofcourse we will infuse the equations like;
And others, but I was keen to see what other formulas or ideas you guys could think of which could be good to use for this project?

Assets = Liability + Owner's Equity
REE
BEP's
Margins
And others, but I was keen to see what other formulas or ideas you guys could think of which could be good to use for this project?
