I am having trouble with this equation:

3x^2 - x + 2 = 0.

If anyone can help that'd be great.

Thanks!!

Check the discriminant, b^2-4ac. If it is negative, then there is no real root.

What class is this for?

For Algebra I or lower: there are no real roots.

For Algebra II or higher: X = [1 +/- (23)^(1/2)i] / [9]
