Answer: glass 210g

Let's do another problem:

A glass is full of milk. The total weight is 500g. When the glass is 3/4 full of milk, the weight is 400g. What is the weight of the glass?

Let us assume that:

The weight of the glass = G

The weight of one glass of milk (just milk - without the glass) = M

Then

A glass is full of milk. The total weight is 500g............. → ...........G + M = 500 ..................................................(1)

When the glass is 3/4 full of milk, the weight is 400g
... → ...........G + (3/4) * M = 400 ........................................(2)

If we subtract (2) from (1), we get:

(1/4) * M = 100

M = 400 g

Using (1)

G + M = 500

G + 400 = 500 → G = 100 g........................ answer

Follow exact same steps.....
