Solve the system of inequalities x>2 and y<x+3 by graphing.

I think there is no solution. Am I right?

Yikes! Why do you think that? Try (3,0).

1) Get a fresh x-y coordinate system.
2) Draw the line x = 2 (draw it dotted, since it's "greater than" only)
3) Does (0,0) work? 0 > 2? No! Shade the side NOT including the Origin.
4) Draw the line y = x+3 (draw it dotted, since it's "less than" only)
5) Does (0,0) work? 0 < 0 + 3? Yes! Shade the side INcluding the Origin.
6) You should have shaded a section twice. That's your solution set.
