Square root expressions with variables??? help

This is the problem I don't understand how to get (3√xn)
I have no idea what this question means. Here is the notation:
\(\displaystyle \displaystyle\large\sqrt[3]{{{x^n}}} = {\left( {\sqrt[3]{x}} \right)^n} = {x^{\frac{n}{3}}}\)
