What does C stand for? What is the height of the cylinder?

There is a regular cylinder.

C=12(pi) cm

Find the surface area.

C = 2(pi)r
r = C/(2pi)

Surface Area of a cylinder = area of ends plus area of side = 2((pi)(r^2)) + 2(pi)(r)(h)
SA = 2((pi)([C/(2pi)]^2)) + 2(pi)[C/(2pi)](h)
SA = 2((pi)([12(pi)/(2pi)]^2)) + 2(pi)[12(pi)/(2pi)](h)
SA = 2((pi)([12/(2)]^2)) + 2(pi)[12/(2)](h)
SA = 2((pi)([6]^2)) + 2(pi)[6](h)
SA = 2(36(pi) + 12(pi)(h)
SA = 72(pi) + 24(pi)(h)
