I like the animated images. They really help comprehension move along with the narrated explanations.

Footnote: Regarding the advertisement for brilliant.org, I would like to mention for readers who might consider enrolling in one of their math courses (eg: Beginning Algebra) that many schools now offer free courses online.

this is a elementary ray-casting problem in gaming. Pretty much any game engine calculate this
