Hey all my first post here. I need help with a volume guesstimation I suppose you could call it. All I have is a picture to go by of a jar and some candies (I know it's lame :/). From what I've read online I can come somewhat close using the following formula:

Jar Volume = Neck down volume(3.14(radius^2)(height)) + neck up volume((3.14(radius^2)(height))
Then divide that number by the candy volume.

Is that right? Is candy volume also found the same way as the jar or is it just: length(width)(height) ?

I need to be exact here so is there anyway one of you amazingly skilled mathematicians can take a look at the photo and tell me what you think? I'm guessing the actual size of the jar and candies isn't important but relative to each other right? I basically just had the jpeg on my screen and used a ruler...

thanks for any help in advance
