if harry brought $0.75 cones and $1.00 ice cream sandwiches to sale and the total cost was $225.00 with him buy 2times as many cones and ice cream sandwiches. how many of each did he buy. how much did he pay for the ice cream sandwiches. how much was paid for the ice cream cones?

not for sure what yo want me to do im new to this?

How about defining the knowns ansd unknowns!

C = the number of icecream cones
S = the number of sandwiches

Cones cost $.75 each
Sandwiches cost $1.00 each

The total cost C = .75C + 1S = $225
While solvable, there are many solutions as given by S = 3k and C = 300 - 4k.

However, what other piece of information given might help us out here?

The number of cones bought was twice the number of sandwiches or C = 2S.

I bet you can take it from here.
