Find the three numbers:

The sum of three numbers is 123. The second number is 9 less than than 2 times the first number. The third number is 6 more than three times the first number. Find the three numbers

Since the second and third numbers are expressed in terms of the first number, pick a variable for the first number.

Create expressions, in terms of this variable, for the second and third numbers.

Sum the variable and the two expressions; set equal to the given sum.

Solve the equation for the variable. Back-solve for the other two numbers.

If you get stuck, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning, starting with the variable you picked and the expressions you created. Thank you.
