THE DIRECTIONS SAY TO TRANSLATE TO AN EQUATION AND SOLVE

TWICE THE SQUARE OF A NUMBER MINUS 3 IS 47. FIND THE NUMBER.

I GOT 25^2

IM NOT SURE IF THATS THE ANSWER THOUGH
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. :D

1--Let x = the number
2--2x^2 = twice the square of the number
3--2x^2 - 3 = 47
4--2x^2 = 50
5--x^2 = 25
6--x = 5
