Where is the function decreasing? (In interval notation)

Do you know what it means to say that a function is decreasing?

If I had to guess, I would guess it is decreasing at (-6,3.5). Not really sure?
Okay, but my question was whether you know what it means to say that a function is descreasing. Since you have answered with a point, rather than an interval, I will guess that you aren't familiar with this terminology.

Unfortunately, we cannot teach courses here, so I cannot fully explain the concepts involved. But a short explanation would be that a function is "descreasing" when its value is declining; visually, a function is decreasing where its graph is declining.
